today...

Don't you just love Spring Allergies? It ruins the best season of the year! And the pills only work for 2 weeks, so you need to get a stronger one, costing more, and more, and more, until you're getting pills like nasonex for $100 a pop; while the pharmaceutical companies make enough money to buy the stock market.
Anyway, I learned another reason why I disagree with Facebook: You get hooked. You don't just look at it once every few weeks, oh, not at all, you use it like illegal drugs. Again and again, when suddenly whoops! you go to Starbucks to get the wifi to get internet to look at Facebook. And yet, nobody agrees with me. ''Well, you need Facebook'' they say; ''It's a normal thing that everyone does.'' Well if everyone was jumping off a cliff would you do it?!?!? Well, logistically, yes, you would. When you are put in an environment where everyone tells you it's ok, it's ok, you will think it's normal.
Oh, well. If you disagree with me, I frankly don't care.
On another topic, they are going to redo a movie and make a movie from a tv show:
TRON and
THE LAST AIRBENDER.
They look pretty good, but it's just another thing to wait for 2011. Happy mothers day.

Music

Music always seems to be a wonderful pass time and enjoyable. My favourite instruments would be the piano for its simplicity and the bass guitar for its stability and importance. Music is mostly mathematical. Take a scale on a guitar for instance; all are the same, but in different positions. As with the piano, where a scale is always in a pattern of 1 3 5 6 810 12 13. Music is all about sound. You have a beat (drums), a melody (basses), and a tune (trebles, tenors, baris). That's music. Not only one of the parts. Like a jigsaw puzzle; you need all the pieces to make it.

What I also like about instruments is that you can learn similar ones quickly. For instance, if you know the violin, you can play: Bass Guitar, Guitar, Fiddle, Upright Bass, and Contra bass. If you know clarinet you can play: Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Tenor Saxophone, Alto Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone, Contra bass Clarinet, and Oboe easily.

Music enriches the soul and literally makes you live longer. Conductors of Orchestras have lived for more than 100 years. Anyway, music is good. I like it.

The Lightning Thief

Hello again. A movie just came out yesterday called Percy Jackson & The Olympians: THE LIGHTNING THIEF. I read the series years ago and vaguely remember what it's about but I heard good things about it. The movie's from the Disney Co. which I rarely trust for making movies like: UP or WALLE or any of those cheap 3D animated films.

Entry Date 2: 19 February 2010

I saw the movie on Monday and it's pretty bad. On the scale of 1 to 10 it's a 3. It turns out the movie is not Disney, and they skipped parts and replace them with others. Mostly, it was a visual summary of the book, and nothing more. Because of the parts they skipped they probably can't make a sequel unless it has nothing to do with the books. As it was a close call making it to the theatre, I don't think it's worth seeing. Unless you're one of those people who see movies and walk out thinking 'What was it about?' then you'll hate it too.
Otherwise, it wasn't too bad. I mean, it's not a good one either, but people will see it, sort of like it, and depending on the following mood they'll rate it good or poor.
I took a poll (not a large one, I'm not demented) to see who liked it or not. Here are the statistics:

GoodBad
35% 65%

This poll might be on the blog to your right depending on the mood of my computer.

The Fire Within by Chris d'Lacey

The name 'Gadzooks' was in the book The Fire Within and other books in the series. Now, I've realized, there is yet another five books coming out in the series. Four of them (which half of them are released in the UK and half didn't even come out) are in the prologue series The Dragons of Wayward Crescent. The fifth one that doesn't have such a childish cover (no offence anyone) is called Dark Fire. Dark Fire is the last in the series, and the Wayward Crescent books are like a prologue before David Rain, another character in the book. Dark fire>>>
Pretty cool huh? But is that a gargoyle in there? Hmm.
It is already realeased in the UK, but in the US it is sometime around April, 2010.The first three books of Wayward Crescent are already realeased in the UK, unknown dates for other one in the UK and unkown for any in the US. Enjoy!
-Gadzooks
P.S. I have a copy now (all sold out everywhere) and now I think you should know that another two books are going to be released as the END of the Fire Series. 6th one is called (not released yet) Fire World, and will be released sometime in 2011.
The seventh Chris mentioned on his blog or journal whatever but doesn't have a name yet. Ciao!

The Impossible Quiz #3 !!!!!

I found it! Yay! It actually came out on 9/11/09 (I missed it) and now it's over a month after it's released and it's called "The Impossible Quiz Book", and it's on E4games.com. I have beaten the first chapter today, and realized Chapter 2 won't be released for a while. (Reccomended for people that are NOT 5 YEARS OLD. something like 11+) Yeah.. kinda gory and inaproppiate for 'little kids'. Otherwise have fun with it !

Binary

Hey! Sure binary isn't the most useful thing ever, but it's not a bad thing.

OK. First, you should see the pattern in ASCII and number binary that it always 00000000 00000001 00000010 00000011 00000100 etc.. see it? Look closely. 01 10 11 100 101 110 111 see? if you did then here's the next step: memorizing the pattern. Once you can see and memorize the pattern, then read this. 1 = 01; 2 = 10; 3 = 11; 4 = 100 etc. Try filling out the rest.

COUNTING IN BINARY W/ FINGERS

A lot easier than memorizing. Look at pic. Thumb is one, first finger is two, middle is four, ring is 8, and pinky is 16. Note that the pattern is doubling. For a number (Let's say 7) you would add up with your fingers the numbers you have. 1, 2 and 4 = 7. You would put up your thumb first and middle fingers. Now for translating. all fingers down are zeroes, and up are ones. so seven would be 00111 in 5-bit binary. (the 'bit' is how many fingers you use) In 10-bit binary, you would use two hands from RIGHT TO LEFT: 1, 2 ,4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, and 512. More bits, more numbers.

Microsoft Visio

I recently discovered Visio when I wanted to go to Outlook, and it is pretty neat! Visio 2000 is way better though because you can sniff out all computers in a ___ ft. radius! But that, along with other features, is long gone and Visio 2007 is king. I know it sounds like I'm SO sad that Visio 2000 is gone but I'm not. The 2007 version is faster, you have new types of graphs, and it doesn't look too pixelated.

So remember, Never mis-spell Google.com EVER. now it is a little better, but if you click on any of the ads, BAM! Spyware Central.

Animations

I've downloaded Cam Studio and some thing's wrong about it because it converts all screen recordings to flash, and the Internet is involved... then I wanted to download a animator. It was GIF. That went way too fast to see anything, so... today I installed Pivot Stickfigure animator. It is AWESOME!!! You can control it quite easily and the animations when they're finished look great. Also I installed Microsoft Expression 3. It's a flash animator, and it's too complex for me. 8/7/09-Fri-4:34PM-pacific

What Kinda Name is Gadzooks?

I'll tell you: It's a good one. I mean it isn't my real name. But that would stink. :(
I have every profile named Gadzooks. Xbox 360, ToonTown, etc. Except for SPORE. It's Gwendy. But, whatever. So if you don't like it, go away. If you do, =D.

Quite a While later... More Gadzooks names for all!

MyParidiseCity 360

I got Burnout Paridise and it is awesome! Now I'm class B lisence and completely own 3 streets. One of them is Watt St. so I could get the achievement. I love road rages! My record for cars taken down is 26. My favorite car is the Pioneer Super Gator. It's like a rock on wheels. I went to a bus and took it head-on and it tipped it over and counted as a Drivaway. Yeah, that game's great.

4 months later: Ok, forget I ever said anything about the Super Gator. I got the Carbon-fiber GT Concept. It is way better. I completely own 16 streets (offline) and I have the Burnout lisence. BUT, I installed a LIVE card and said I was a minor, so. . .you might be seeing "The Zookster" or "Gadzooks42" but Gadzooks for xbox360 is dead.I mean the whole account. It's just wrong. I mean, "You cannot play EA games because they are rated E10+ And scince you are way older than ten, AND just messed up on the birthday thing YOU CANNOT FREAKING PLAY.Oh, well.

MyToonTown

If you don't know what Toontown is...do something else. If you do, cool! My toon name is 'Gadzooks' and it looks like it is written in Fountain Pen. I have 106 or 7 laffpoints I can't remember and need to finish 2 more tasks to beat DDL. These are my gags.
Toon-up: lvl 5 pixie dust

MySpore

Right now in spore, I have a creature named Gwith in space stage, (that's my most advanced creature) that is trying to destroy the Grox's 2400 systems. Otherwise, Gwith rocks! And NO I do not have like 2 arms of the Galaxy because I don't stare at the screen 25/8. I got space trait "Diplomat" By getting Green, Blue, Blue, Unplayed. But diplomat stinks! All you get for a super power is "Static Cling." It freezes everybody so you 'don't get hurt'. Well, anyway, I changed archetypes to Zealot. Boo-yah! Take over 1 planet instantly! By the way, Gwith is the guy in the profile pic. Here's some of my highly evolved creatures. From top-left to bottom-right: Farfle, Gwith, Hathor, Callipo, Exiler.

Like 6 weeks later...

Hello! during the past 6 (i think it's 6) weeks, I've discovered some names that are also my spore creatures' names.

1:Hathor; an ancient egyptian goddess Yeah. Cool, but wierd for a blackbird with a gear on its chest.

2:Callipo;A FRIGGIN PASTA COMPANY!!! i understand jam or something but PASTA?!? I mean, it's yellow and pasta's yellow... oh god.

A LOOOOONG Time later...

Spore GA came out and I of course got it. If you type in `Clark and Stanley' you'll find Maxis created and Gwendy Created. I am Gwendy. I also made others, but Clark and Stanley are top picks. 8/14-9:03AM=Pacific-US
